IKETLE Naturals is an essential oils business focused on the production and processing of essential oil plants. The business is owned and operated by two black women, a mother‑and‑daughter duo based on a farm situated on the outskirts of Bronkhorstspruit in Gauteng Province.
The planting of essential oil plants commenced in 2018, with the business initially focusing on the production of rose geranium, followed by vetiver. In 2022, the business began with the extraction of essential oils through the steam distillation process. Following the successful growth of these two essential oil plants, IKETLE Naturals continued to expand its cultivation by planting a wider variety of essential oil plants, including lavender (French and English), lemongrass, rosemary, marjoram, eucalyptus and more.
Our essential oils are produced at a personal, human level, with extraction done on our premises to ensure we have greater control over the entire production process, from planting and plant care to the final essential oil customer product. This approach enables us to preserve the quality and integrity of our products while adding value to locally grown agricultural products.
Our essential oils are subsequently laboratory tested to determine their chemical composition and verify their quality, to ensure we consistently produce and supply high value essential oils.
